Pukka has partnered with Sauce Shop to launch a co-branded pie.

Buffalo Chicken Pie (rsp: £2.25/205g) features chicken marinated and cooked in Sauce Shop’s Buffalo Hot Sauce, combined with Jalapeño mash and mature cheddar cheese, encased in puff pastry.

It was developed in “close collaboration” between Pukka’s chefs and Sauce Shop’s founders and will roll into Asda on 26 October, followed by Tesco on 10 November.

Pukka claimed the innovation would attract younger, “flavour-seeking” shoppers to the pie fixture.

It features pairing suggestions from both brands’ wider ranges on pack, intended to drive trial.

Limited editions played a “key role” in Pukka’s success, with previous launches delivering £1.4m of added value, 70% incremental sales, and a 10% uplift in younger consumers, the brand claimed, citing Circana and Kantar data [52 w/e 3 August 2025 & 52 w/e 13 August 2025].

“We wanted to collaborate with a brand that shares our passion for putting flavour first and Sauce Shop was the perfect fit,” said Pukka CEO Isaac Fisher.

“Limited editions bring energy and excitement to the category – and we believe this could be our most successful yet,” Fisher added.

The launch will be supported by a PR and social media push from both brands.

Pukka last month unveiled its range ofsavoury pastry products for autumn. The lineup comprises Hog Roast Slice, Thai Red Curry Chicken Parcel, Creamy Pepper Steak Pie, The Big One Minced Beef & Onion, and Festive Pie (from £1.50-£4).
