They have a ‘fiery punch and satisfying crunch’ according to the leading meat-free brand

Quorn has expanded its Takeaway range with “freezer aisle must-have” Quorn Hot & Spicy Bites (rsp: £2.95/245g).

They have a “fiery punch and satisfying crunch” according to the brand, and will land in Tesco, Sainsbury’s and Waitrose this September, as well as Morrisons from October.

Quorn said the bites delivered on three key themes for customers: “big flavour, convenience and better-for-you credentials”. They are air friable in 10 minutes, high in protein, a source of fibre and low in fat.

They can be used for snacking, as a starter, in a wrap, or part of a “fakeaway feast” alongside Quorn Salt & Pepper Chicken Tenders, Crunchy Fillet Burgers and Quarter Pounder Burgers, according to the brand.

The launch arrives alongside a new look for Quorn’s Takeaway range featuring “bold, illustrative food-focused packaging”.

“Quorn continues to grow ahead of market, seeing particularly strong growth in frozen meal centres, with our delicious Takeaway range driving that success,” said Quorn Foods marketing director Lucy Grogut.

“We’re building on the momentum by investing in an eye-catching new creative look for the full range and exciting innovation with our Hot & Spicy Bites, helping retailers drive incremental growth in frozen meat-free.”
