Dawnfresh Seafoods has recruited Andy Stapley as MD, replacing Douglas Low who left a year ago. He joins following a £10m investment in factory development and in the wake of the launch of a programme for new product development. The company said Stapley is to build on these initiatives by developing foodservice and retail sales for its added value frozen and chilled fish products.
He will also be responsible for overseeing the continuing development of the company’s export business. He has joined from Grampian Country Food Group where he began as an account manager, going on to be sales and marketing director of its frozen chicken division, Grampian Country Chickens (Bucksburn).
His last role there was as regional MD for its primary chicken processing division.
