Starbucks is bringing the viral US Unicorn Frappuccino to UK coffee houses for the first time this summer.
Available for just three days from 15 August to 17 August, the beverage combines mango and peach flavours with a sour blue raspberry flavour drizzle, topped with whipped cream.
The Unicorn Frappuccino first launched in the US on 19 April 2017 and was discontinued four days later, intended to be a limited-time menu item. Despite this, the drink quickly became a viral sensation for its bright colours and appeal across social media.
After a nine-year hiatus, the beverage made an appearance at the Coachella Music Festival earlier this year.
In the UK, the Unicorn Frappuccino, which is priced from £5.60, will be available to order in-store, via the Starbucks UK app or through Starbucks Delivers.
It will launch alongside the new Unicorn Cake Pop, priced from £3.50, which is a vanilla cake pop covered in white chocolate and sprinkles.
It follows the launch of the coffee giant’s summer menu last month, centred on a new Caramelised Banana range.
The drinks include the Iced Caramelised Banana Latte, the Iced Caramelised Banana Oat Shaken Espresso, and Iced Caramelised Banana Matcha Latte.
