Tesco flogs Czech and Slovak operation to Ahold Delhaize for £1bn

The sale does not include the business in Hungary, which continues to be owned by Tesco
Tesco has agreed the sale of most of its central European operations to Dutch supermarket chain Ahold Delhaize in a deal worth €1.2bn (£1bn).
