The Coconut Collab has launched a Natural Kefir SKU.

The product is made by naturally fermenting coconut water and coconut milk to create a “tangy drink designed for breakfast”.

The Coconut Collab Natural Kefir (rsp: £3.45/500ml) contains vitamins D, B6 and B16, 30% of the recommended daily amount of calcium per 100ml, billions of live bacteria and fibre.

It also has no added sugar, no sweeteners, no artificial flavours and no preservatives.

The brand said the launch came at a time when shoppers were looking for added health benefits in dairy and dairy alternatives.

“A drinkable kefir is a totally natural extension of our yoghurt range,” said James Averdieck, founder of The Coconut Collab. “Our shoppers care about taste, and they care about health and wellness, and this launch absolutely meets all those needs.”

The product is available in Sainsbury’s and Ocado, with more launches to come.
