The range ‘reinvents familiar favourites for a new generation’ to deliver ‘unmistakably British tastes’ and capture new shoppers

The Jolly Hog has launched sausages developed in partnership with Marmite and Colman’s Mustard.

The range “reinvents familiar favourites for a new generation” to deliver “unmistakably British tastes” and capture new shoppers.

The two-strong range (rsp: £4.50/ 400g) combines the British condiments Marmite and Colman’s, with RSPCA Assured British pork.

The Jolly Hog Colman’s Sausage will be available from 18 March and The Jolly Hog Marmite Sausage will be available from 30 March in Ocado, Tesco, Sainsbury’s, and Waitrose.

“We wanted to bring some real excitement to the sausage aisle by pairing proper British bangers with flavours that people already know and love,” said Olly Kohn, co-founder of The Jolly Hog. “Marmite and Colman’s are instantly recognisable, and there’s a strong sense of nostalgia around them.

“For us, it really is Britain’s greatest pairing. This launch combines banging British flavours with high-quality, outdoor-bred pork to create something that feels both familiar and genuinely new for shoppers.”

The brand added that the range builds on a growing trend of retail brand collaborations which have been more common in ambient and snacking.

“This partnership has been in development for a number of years, so seeing Marmite and Colman’s sausages heading into stores is a real milestone,” said Melissa Wimble, licensing manager at Unilever. “So much hard work has gone into this project and we’re thrilled to be launching something so uniquely British with The Jolly Hog.”
