This has announced the launch of three new SKUs into its This Isn’t and This Is ranges.
The new This Isn’t Beef Pastrami, This Is Super Veg Protein Bites and This Is Super Superfood Breaded Pieces will be rolled out from mid-September.
The This Isn’t Beef Pastrami (rsp:£2.95/70g) is a ready-to-eat chilled product that is designed to mimic the smoky, rich flavour and texture of traditional pastrami, the brand said.
It is high in protein and a source of fibre and will launch into Morrisons from 15 September and Sainsbury’s from 28 September.
The This Is Super Veg Protein Bites (rsp: £3.50/240g) are made from pea, lemon and basil and coated in a multigrain crumb for a “satisfying crunch”.
The frozen, ready-to-cook bites are high in protein, a source of fibre and low in saturated fat.
The bites will be available in Tesco from 15 September.
The brand is also expanding its super superfood range with This Is Superfood Breaded Pieces (rsp: £3.95/180g) which are made from shiitake mushrooms, broad bean protein and seeds in a multigrain breaded coating.
Launching into Sainsbury’s from 15 September, the pieces are naturally high in iron, omega-3, protein and fibre, while also containing only 100% natural ingredients.
“Our goal has always been to create delicious and nutritious plant-based products, and with our new Pastrami, Super Veg bites and breaded Super Superfood, we’re giving foodies new options,” said Mark Cuddigan, CEO of This. “We can’t wait for people to try them, whether they’re looking for meaty alternatives or tasty veg-packed products to cook with.”
The launches follow the unveiling of the This Is Super Superfood range in April, which marked the first departure for the brand from meat mimic products.
