The extension builds on a five-year partnership

Forecourt operator Tout’s Group has renewed its supply partnership with Co-op Wholesale.

The extension builds on a five-year partnership, which had so far helped Tout’s to shape a “premium, food-first model” thanks to the wholesaler’s breadth of range and convenience expertise, it said.

Tout’s added that renewing its long-term agreement meant it could prepare for opening more convenience-led forecourt sites. It currently operates three forecourts across Somerset and Bristol.

“Our customers expect quality, value and a great fresh proposition,” said Tout’s CEO Jonathan Tout. “Working with Co-op Wholesale gives us the quality, ambition and support we need to deliver that every day. It’s a relationship that keeps helping us raise the bar, so extending the partnership was an easy decision for us as we look to grow further.”

Paul Webster, Co-op Wholesale sales director, said: “Tout’s are a bold, forward‑thinking operator with a clear vision for the future of forecourt retail. Supporting their journey has been fantastic, and we’re excited to keep building with them as they grow and lead the sector forward.”

Co-op Wholesale has secured a number of new contracts this year, including a new multi-year partnership with motorway service operator Roadchef in April, which had previously been supplied by Spar.

The partnership was extended in September so Co-op Wholesale could supply the WH Smith stores located at its motorway service areas across the UK.

In October, Co-op Wholesale also expanded its presence into the UK forecourt sector with a new multi-year partnership with Tankerford, supplying its 11 forecourt convenience stores nationwide.
