Trewithen Dairy has expanded its range in Tesco stores with the launch of its Cornish Double Cream (rsp: £2.40/300ml).
The Cornish dairy said its latest development, which is an exclusive with Britain’s largest retailer, will be available in 500 stores nationally, as well as in regional stores.
The NPD is double cream made from 100% Cornish milk sourced from cows grazing within 25 miles of the dairy.
It is packaged in a Tetra Pak carton, made from recyclable materials, which has been hailed by the company for its convenient, resealable nature and easy storage potential.
“Renowned for its velvety texture and rich, pure taste, Trewithen’s double cream is naturally thick and indulgently smooth, unlike long life or UHT alternatives,” Trewithen Dairy said. “Versatile enough for whipping, pouring, or enriching both sweet and savoury dishes, it brings a touch of Cornish indulgence to everyday cooking, from warm puddings and luxurious sauces to delectable desserts.”
