Uniq has announced it is selling the site of its former St Ivel factory to Kingsoak Homes for £19m.
The pan-European chilled foods group plans to sell the Wootton Bassett factory to Kingsoak Homes, a subsidiary of Barratt, to reduce borrowing costs.
“This sale further strengthens out balance sheet as we continue to pursue our strategy of being the most innovative and efficient provider of chilled food solutions in Europe,” said Bill Ronald, chief executive of Uniq.
