Wagamama is to undergo a “major menu evolution”, transforming its most popular dishes into portable lunch formats.
Available in restaurants and on delivery platforms from 17 June, the new menu features 26 new dishes and drinks.
At the centre of the launch is a “reimagined lunch experience”, which, for the first time, will see popular dishes available on the go, including a new Chicken Katsu Wrap and a Yasai Ramen Wrap. Both are served with dipping sauces inspired by the original dishes.
Available Monday to Friday from 11am to 3pm, the new wraps launch alongside a trio of lunchboxes, in Miso K-Chicken, Miso Cauliflower and Nasi Goreng.
Wagamama will also continue to offer its main and drink lunch bundle for £14 when dining in.
Alongside the lunchtime offer, the restaurant brand will be introducing a range of seasonal dishes including a Chicken & Prawn Turmeric Rice Bowl, a Gochujang Salmon Rice Bowl, and a Signature Seafood Ramen.
The drinks menu will also see trend-led additions including a Matcha Colada – a blend of matcha, pineapple, coconut milk and apple.
Wagamama is also expanding its gluten-free offering with 12 new dishes, including gluten-free versions of popular dishes such as chicken, prawn or tofu Firecracker curry and Grilled Duck Donburi, alongside new dishes such as Spicy Smashed Cucumber and the Chicken and Prawn Turmeric Rice Bowl.
“Our summer and lunch menu brings together the flavours guests already love with fresh new dishes perfect for long summer days and quick, fresh lunches,” said Wagamama chief marketing officer Claire Farrant.
“From vibrant summer bowls and speedy lunch options to sticky, spicy sides and refreshing juices, every addition is designed to deliver bold flavour, freshness and flexibility.”
