Waitrose has introduced loyalty pricing for a selection of chocolate SKUs.
MyWaitrose members can now enjoy a third off a selection of Cadbury Easter Eggs and Lindt Lindor truffles, lowering the price from £5.50 to £3.67 for large eggs, and £7.50 to £5 for a 200g box of truffles.
While Waitrose runs regular 20% discounts for loyalty card members on its service counters for Big Cheese Thursday, Fish Friday and Sizzling Saturday, it does not usually require a loyalty card for shoppers to access its promotions.
Waitrose refused to be drawn on whether it would run more loyalty promotions in the future.
A spokeswoman commented: “We ran this offer for our members last year and are pleased to reintroduce it this Easter.”
Waitrose has strengthened its loyalty programme in recent months. It brought back its free coffee perk last January and rolled out Little Treats rewards in November 2025.
MyWaitrose had 4.6 million active members in the year to 25 January 2025, the most recent data published by the John Lewis Partnership, a 7% rise on the previous year.
Loyalty prices have become ubiquitous at Tesco and Sainsbury’s, while Morrisons is offering a wider range of More Card benefits after scaling back loyalty promotions in favour of prices everyone can access.
