Yeo Valley Organic has added a Madagascan Vanilla flavour to its organic kefir range.
Joining the existing Blueberry and Raspberry options, the variant will be available from Sainsbury’s (rsp: £2.50/500ml).
The fermented milk drink, which contains 14 live culture strains to support gut health, aims to provide shoppers with a “more indulgent option” that is both “comforting and versatile”, the brand said.
The launch is part of the company’s Good Mood Food campaign, and it hopes that by adding a “more well-known flavour” Yeo Valley will broaden “when and how kefir can be enjoyed”.

The latest SKU comes as Yeo Valley Organic expands its Blueberry kefir to include a one-litre bottle (rsp: £3.50) as well as a 4x100g multipack offering (rsp: £2.50).
The flavour launched earlier this year in a 500ml drinking bottle, as well as a mixed yoghurt pot containing both granola and kefir.
Earlier this week, the organic food giant made its debut in the ambient aisle with the launch of a range of granolas which are made from 100% organic British oats and a mix of nuts, seeds and fruits.
