Yoplait has announced the appointment of Grant Yates as UK sales director.
Yates has over 25 years of experience within the fmcg sector including at Nestlé and Unilever, covering a range of commercial and customer management roles across a variety of categories in the UK and internationally.
He has joined the company from Nomad Foods, where he led international accounts, and most recently Findus, Switzerland as sales director.
“As a well-known and loved brand, I am excited to be joining the Yoplait team in the UK,” said Yates. “I am looking forward to leveraging my experience in realising the growth ambition for the brand and the wider yoghurt category, especially through the evolution and expansion of new growth sectors. It is an exciting time for Yoplait in the UK.”
He will bring his extensive experience to help Yoplait meet its strategic growth ambitions.

“In the UK Yoplait is famous for its iconic kids’ yoghurt brands including Petits Filous and Frubes but globally we have a much wider repertoire, and our ambition is to bring our wider yoghurt expertise and innovation to UK consumers and retailers, which includes our new Yoplait Skyr targeted at adults.”
