Alexander will be focused on growing and developing the supplier’s major consumer brands including Pilgrims Choice cheese and Kerrygold butter, through multichannel advertising and investment in marketing and shopper activities.
“I’m looking forward to working with the cross-functional teams at Ornua as we build on the love and loyalty consumers have for Pilgrims Choice and Kerrygold and accelerate our share growth,” said Alexander on her appointment.
“We have some exciting developments in the pipeline over the next 12 months including new standout pack designs and formats, range extensions and creative multichannel advertising campaigns designed to reinforce and bring to life the core benefits of both brands.”
Prior to her appointment, Alexander has held a number of senior marketing roles with leading fmcg and consumer healthcare brands in Africa and Europe. These include being marketing director for Kellogg’s Africa, marketing director for GSK Consumer Health West Africa and brand operations lead for Procter & Gamble in South & East Africa.
