Premier Foods is extending its Ambrosia pudding brand with a range of mini-pots aimed at kids.
Available next month, the six-packs of 55g rice and custard pots have added calcium and vitamin D to appeal to mums with young children (rsp: £1.49).
The range would plug a gap in the market for ambient desserts for kids, said senior brand manager Hilary Brown, citing research showing 79% of households with children aged one to seven would buy them.
Made from 100% natural ingredients, the pots contain no preservatives or artificial colours or sweeteners. Their launch will be supported by in-store activity including an initial £1 promotional price in “key retailers”.
