The store sells traditional Korean cuisine and ingredients as well as non-food such as cosmetics and K-pop albums

Korean supermarket Oseyo has opened its fifth store in London.

The 2,600 sq ft shop has opened at the new Central Cross development on Charing Cross Road near London’s Chinatown. It sells traditional Korean cuisine, a fresh ingredients section, and a Korean pancake station as well as non-food including Korean cosmetics, K-pop albums, stationery and Korean household appliances such as talking rice cookers.

“With its position to Chinatown and fantastic footfall, we couldn’t think of a better location than Central Cross for our latest supermarket,” said Oseyo operations coordinator Isaac Kweon.

“We are delighted to bring Korean food, music and culture to London’s West End, and with our new site, will offer even more products manufactured by the Oseyo brand, offering tourists, office workers and local Londoners an exciting new all-day grocer.”
