Co-op is switching up its Served meal-for-two concept with an Asian-inspired menu, following the success of its Italian launch in September. Landing in stores and online from 7 January to 3 February, the range keeps the same simple format – a main and two sides for £8 for members (£9 for non-members) – but this time offering bolder world food flavours and comforting crowd-pleasers.

The six-week menu features six mains and 11 sides, giving shoppers 330 possible combinations, with standout mains including Chicken Katsu Curry made with British chicken breasts and a Bang Bang Cauliflower Curry with peanut sauce. Co-op is doubling down on two trends that have gained momentum across grocery: global flavours and low-effort decision-making at dinner.
