Sainsbury’s is launching its summer 2026 range with more than 100 new food and drink lines across Taste the Difference and Taste the Difference Discovery. The range features hot-smoked barbecue meats, deli-style sharing plates and light picnic options.
Barbecue is the clear focus, with a new Discovery hot-smoked range inspired by American smokehouse flavours, while smashed burgers, kebabs and grill-ready meats add more trend-led innovation.
“This summer is all about bold flavours, great ingredients and easy food that helps customers host without the fuss,” says Sainsbury’s director of product & innovation James Campbell. ”Across Taste the Difference and our Taste the Difference Discovery range, we’ve taken inspiration from flavours around the world – think hot-smoked slow-cooked barbecue, standout sharing plates for relaxed evenings and lighter favourites for warmer days.”
Sainsbury’s is also expanding its picky bits offer with 16 new Mediterranean and Middle Eastern-inspired dishes such as burrata arancini, labneh and gyros chicken.
