Bill Rolfe, the former Unwins marketing director and co-founder of wine agency 10 International, is opening a new-format food and wine store with "old-fashioned" service.
The Market Square opens in East Grinstead next week and will stock high-quality wines, fresh bread, deli items, local and imported foods and flowers. P&H is the main food supplier while wines will be sourced from distributors including PLB, Crown Drinks and HT White.
"Old-fashioned service is coming back," Rolfe said. "People are crying out for interaction, especially in this kind of outlet."
