Cornish ice cream producer Styles Farmhouse is making its first move into retail with a tubbed version of the sheep milk iced desserts it sells from its van business.

Slim Ewe, which contains 2.1g of fat and 68 calories per 100ml, is being positioned as a "super-premium" option with a healthy edge. It is available in vanilla pod, Dutch chocolate and real strawberry and is priced £3.95 for a 550ml tub.

The £1m company already produces cows milk ice creams in tubs, available in the south west from delis, but Slim Ewe is its first range to target convenience and multiple channels.

Press and online ads kick off later this month.
