Baxters has teamed up with Scottish celebrity chef Nick Nairn to launch a range of restaurant-style sauces pitched at the premium end of the market. The seven-strong range of ambient pan fry sauces includes Authentic Thai Red Curry, Caramelised Onion & Red Wine Gravy, Classic Mediterranean Tomato, Creamy Mushroom & Herb, Creamy Peppercorn & Whisky, Hot & Sour Red Pepper and Italian Cheese & Ham. They are additive and GM-free (rsp £1.89) and are packaged in pouches to appeal to the 25-35 year old working professional target market. Support will include consumer press ads and instore merchandising ­ part of the £6.6m behind the Baxters brand over the next year. {{P&P }}
