Martin Strachan has become MD of Australian and New Zealand premium wine agents Negociants UK to build the growth of brands such as Oxford Landing.
He replaces Michael Cox who moved to Wines of Chile as MD.
Working from Negociants UK’s Harpenden office, Strachan will be responsible for a number of national multiple retail accounts and will also direct new on-trade focused initiatives. He was previously MD of Negociants Australia, where he spent five years growing the company’s on and off-trade business. Previous roles include 10 years at Mildara Blass.
Strachan said: “This is a challenging market with great potential and I am looking forward to working with our customers to explore new opportunities.”
