Tesco aims to take the wind out of Nectar's sails next month by launching what it claims to be the "biggest promotion in supermarket history".
Through a tie-up with Who Wants To Be A Millionaire owner Celador International, shoppers will get the chance to win 200 places on a special episode of the quiz show plus millions of Air Miles and Clubcard points.
The offer runs from October 14 to November 10.
To qualify for the prizes, customers will be given gamecards with every £25 spent. Any Clubcard customer who collects four gamecards and answers all the questions correctly will enter the draw.
