Tesco is teaming up with award-winning cookery website Great British Chefs to launch an app encouraging kids to cook.
The free app for Apple iOS will feature more than 100 recipes to encourage children aged 5 to 12 to get cooking. It also features chef Q&As, Google+ Masterclass Hangouts and online resources to help parents teach basic cooking.
Great British Chefs, which features recipes from more than 20 well-known chefs, worked with Ocado until January and has produced three award-winning apps.
“We are delighted to be working with Great British Chefs on this initiative and look forward to the potential of further collaborations,” Mandy Minichiello, Tesco’s senior marketing manager, said.
