Fruit and veg specialist Produce World has sold its British & Brazilian subsidiary to fresh food marketers AG Thames Holdings.
British & Brazilian, which supplies grapes, melons and stone fruit from around the world to the UK market, will remain a separate trading entity within AG Thames.
"The synergies with AG Thames will enhance the British & Brazilian business and enable it to
compete more effectively," said Produce World. "Customers will retain focus from British & Brazilian but will also benefit from AG Thames' scale in fruit procurement."
