Job Title: Director

“Her understanding of how to build a challenger brand is immense,” says one of those who nominated Harvey. And it’s hard to argue. As commercial director at Gü Puds, Harvey was part of the senior leadership team that took the brand from £5m when she started to £35m by the time she left. More recently, while simultaneously starting a family, Harvey teamed up with former Gü MD Mike Hodgson to launch luxury New Zealand yoghurt brand The Collective in the UK. It’s already worth over £4m. Harvey’s future as an entrepreneurial fmcg high flyer - and the growth of The Collective as a serious dairy category player - are more than secure. Or, as another of her fans puts it: “It’s brave to back yourself to make something happen without the comfort blanket of a corporate. It’s people like Amelia who will drive the UK out of recession.” Praise indeed.
