Leaving nobody in any doubt about what it’s designed to do, the new 180g Trick or Treat bag (rsp: £1) features the manufacturer’s most popular sweets: Joystixx, Stripes, Happy Fruttis and Minis. Surprisingly, this is the first year Maoam has gathered them all together in a single bag, but it’s surely a good decision - these are perfect for when a ragtag bunch of little vampires, skeletons and ghosts comes knocking on the door.

The result, it promises, is “creamy, caramelised and nutty”.

Bazooka is rolling out these tasty-sounding sweet sprays (rsp: £1.19) to multiples and independents as limited editions for Halloween. The apple and cola flavours are rebranded takes on existing variants, but the cherry is entirely new.
