Food manufacturer Greencore has announced a number of changes to the composition and roles of its group executive now that the acquisition of Hazelwood Foods has been completed.

David Dilger will remain group chief executive of Greencore, Tony Hynes will continue as chief operating officer and also responsible for the group’s ingredients and agribusinesses.

Anne Truelove becomes CEO of Greencore’s chilled operations, responsible for the group's UK and Continental European chilled convenience foods businesses. Gerry Smith has been promoted to CEO of Greencore’s ambient and frozen operations.

Peter Woodall will takeover of Greencore's pizza businesses having handled the integration and consolidation of Hazelwood's convenience food businesses.

Greencore CEO David Dilger said: “Our new group executive, with flatter reporting structures and shorter lines of communication, will drive our strategic development and growth agenda.”
