Arkley goes organic
UK organic dairy foods specialist Rachel's Organic has named Joy Arkley as its new human resources manager for the head office in Aberystwyth, Wales. Arkley, joins the company from the University of Wales Aberystwyth, where she was deputy director of HR. She will now look after the HR responsibilities of the 140 strong work force in Mid Wales, reporting directly to managing director Neil Burchell. He said: "We are delighted to welcome Joy to our team. She brings with her a wealth of HR experience that will reflect extremely positively on the team that we have here in Aberystwyth and across our UK wide operations."
Officers reorganise
Chief executive officer Helge Midttun and chief financial officer Sverre Haerem are set to leave their positions at Fjord Seafood as part of the reorganisation of Pan Fish.
Sutherland steps up
The AS Watson Group has promoted Euan Sutherland to the position of chief executive officer of AS Watson Heath and Beauty UK. Sutherland will continue to manage Superdrug but will take on additional responsibility for Savers in the UK, reporting directly to AS Watson's group managing director, Ian Wade.
Costello's new touch
Pay By Touch, the biometric payment company supplying Midlands Co-operative, has appointed John Costello, former executive vice president of merchandising and marketing for The Home Depot, as consumer and retail president. He will report to founder, chairman and CEO John Rogers, taking a seat on Pay By Touch's board of directors. Costello began his career at Procter & Gamble in marketing and brand management positions, also serving as senior sales and marketing VP at Pepsi-Cola.
