Cadbury has confirmed it is in talks with Spanish soda water firm La Casera to form an alliance that would give it a controlling stake in the Spanish company. La Casera has been looking to form a strategic partnership with another soft drinks firm after a restructuring plan put it back into the black last year. Credit Suisse First Boston was hired to find a buyer. It is understood talks with companies, including Coke, fell through and group chairman Jose Arozamena is now looking to team up with Cadbury to compete against Coke and Pepsi in France, Spain and Portugal. {{NEWS }}
