The final call goes out this week for entries to The Grocer’s prestigious annual Gold Awards.
The awards hail the most outstanding performances and sharpest initiatives of the year across the UK supply, wholesale and retail sectors.
Entering is easy and, best of all, it’s free.
The awards are judged by a panel of top industry movers and shakers or awarded on the basis of exclusive research in The Grocer. They will be hotly contested - so make sure you get your entries in.
Categories you can enter include best business initiative, best consumer initiative and best own label range.
There are also awards open only to the firms that sit on our rankings for the Top 50 retailers and Big 30 wholesalers.
Awards that are based on research in The Grocer include best branded and own label suppliers, best branded new product development and The Grocer 33 awards for service, availability, price and best online grocery retailer.
In addition, there will be prizes for the chains judged to be the consumer’s favourite retailer and for the year’s best performing grocery retailer.
Winners will be crowned at a dinner at London’s Dorchester Hotel on Wednesday, June 14.
More than 400 key industry figures attended last year’s gala event, compered by Private Eye editor Ian Hislop.
There are only seven days left to enter and space is limited, so don’t miss your chance to attend.
