A new photography magazine, Photography Monthly, goes on sale on May 17. From publisher Market Link, the monthly is aimed at the enthusiast and headed by a team of four who previously worked on Emap Active's photography magazines and claim to have spotted a gap in the market. Editor Dan Lezano explains: "I became increasingly aware of a major gap in the enthusiast photography market for a magazine which served the keen amateur with real support and guidance on obtaining the best results and maximum enjoyment from his or her photography. "Fortunately this coincided with plans already being progressed by MLP publishing director Warren Parkinson to augment the market spread of MLP's Imaging Group titles." The promotional launch budget is £200,000 and the print run is £80,000. The magazine will be distributed by Comag on full SoR. {{CTN }}
