Open 2003, a magazine dedicated to The British Open Golf Championship, is being published by Absolute Publishing in time for the competition which runs from July 13-20.
The title, which goes on sale on July 9 and is supported by a national media marketing campaign, features profiles of the leading contenders, a guide around the Royal St George's course, competition facts and images of the Open. The cover price is £3.25; distribution is by MMC on full SoR.

n Titan's Hulk
The Hulk Official Movie Souvenir Magazine is a one-shot title that coincides with the release of The Hulk movie, which opens on July 18. Titan Publishing Group's officially licensed 68-page special includes interviews with the cast, behind the scenes action, and an interview with the director Ang Lee. Hulk Official Movie Souvenir Magazine goes on sale on July 3 at £3.99. Distribution is by Comag.

n Music on a Sunday
The Observer is to add The Observer Music Monthly to its Sunday package later this year. The date for the launch is yet to be confirmed, but it is to be backed by a heavyweight advertising campaign. The magazine will also benefit from a major marketing push each month.

n Bumper Maxim
Maxim is celebrating its 100th issue with a bumper August edition on sale this weekend. The special collector's edition showcases the 100 covers from the past seven years. Ten prints' of the best covers will be offered free to every reader. There are also £100,000 giveaways. Maxim is distributed by Seymour.

n Supercars
BBC Magazines is producing a special summer one-shot, BBC Top Gear Supercars magazine. On sale July 15 at a cover price of £4.95, it covers all the supercars the Top Gear TV show has tested in the past two years. It is distributed by Frontline.
