Chapped lip remedy Lypsyl has been given a facelift to reinforce the brand’s image as the “original lipsalve”. Brand consultancy Design Bridge said it had been commissioned to redesign the Novartis Consumer Health brand to stave off stiff competition from Nivea and Vaseline. The result is a new logotype, fruit illustrations and colour coding for flavours. Lyspyl brand manager Lisa Sharratt said: “We believe the new design will reinstate Lypsyl in its rightful place as the original, authentic, market leading lipsalve.” The new look product will start rolling out over the next few weeks. {{P&P }}
