Chilled convenience foods group Uniq has announced a major restructure to its Uniq Prepared Foods operations.
The new operating model will result in each of Uniq Prepared Foods operating sites established as a standalone business unit with dedicated managing directors and senior management teams.
Lochlain Feeley, who was previously director of innovation and marketing, becomes MD of Uniq’s Northampton-based Food on the Move business unit.
Former Tesco diet guru Hamish Renton, who joined last month, is made MD of Uniq’s Paignton desserts unit.
Paul Bates, who was previously operations director, becomes MD at Uniq’s Minsterley desserts unit. Michael Gould will head the Evercreech desserts factory.
Michael Cole continues as MD at the Annan-based seafood and Spalding-based salad arms.
The operating structure is expected to come into operation next month.
