Robin Barr this week stepped down as chairman of AG Barr following 44 years at the soft drinks manufacturer. He said he was "delighted to leave the business in such good shape and in the hands of a capable and experienced team". Barr has agreed to remain on the board in a non-executive role.

Dr Dambisa Moyo has joined SABMiller's board of directors as an independent non-executive director. Dr Moyo previously worked at Goldman Sachs in the debt capital markets and is now a writer and commentator on international aid strategies and economics.

Marks & Spencer has reshuffled its management team. Steve Rowe is to be put in charge of the online business, while its head of fashion Kate Bostock has been given additional responsibility for homewares. Carl Leaver, who had led the international division, homewares and e-commerce businesses, is to leave by mutual agreement in the next three months.

Ben Page is the new CEO of Ipsos MORI in the UK and Ireland. Page joined the company in 1987 and moves up from the role of leader of Ipsos MORI's public sector practice.

Resource Efficiency Yorkshire has appointed Alison Kahumbura as its new project manager for the food and drinks industry. Kahumbura will provide specialist support to food and drink businesses in Yorkshire and Humber that collect and process food and drink waste.

Keith Grinsted has been appointed the new member relations manager at Chelmsford Star Co-operative Society. Grinsted previously worked in the charity sector and replaces Rod Lemka, who retired in late March.

Vicente Trius, executive vice president, president and CEO of Wal-Mart Asia, has been named executive vice president, president and CEO of Wal-Mart Latin America. Trius led the Wal-Mart Asia operation for a year, and supervised the opening of more than 40 new stores in China. He begins the role on 6 July.

Mrs J Le Feuvre, Mr P Roffey, Mrs T Dorrity and Mr P Grainger have been re-elected to the board of directors at Channel Islands Co-operative Society for a further two-year term.
