Andrew Richards has become sales director of Britvic Soft Drinks and Martin Rose takes up the post of supply chain director.

Their appointments follow the promotion of Paul Moody from chief operating officer to MD earlier this month.

Moody’s role has been restructured, with Richards taking over the sales function and Rose managing operations, including purchasing.

Richards is also responsible for all aspects of customer management. He was previously grocery unit director for take-home, having been grocery trading director before that. He joined Britvic in 1998.

Rose, previously logistics director, is responsible for the supply chain, technical development, production and
logistics. He has also worked in operations, having joined Canada Dry Rawlings, which later merged with Britvic, in 1984.

He replaces Stephen Davies, who has become deputy chairman and leaves the company at the end of the year (The Grocer, June 21, p16).
