Frostbite is heading for the take home market in Scotland after receiving a hot reception in trials there. The drink is a mint schnapps shooter with an abv of 50% and was launched by Ian Macleod in May. Managing director Leonard Russell said: "When we introduced it in Edinburgh and Glasgow the repeat orders were such that we went out of stock. "There are very few brands in this market so far and we want Frostbite to be the next generation brand to After Shock." He has been supporting the brand with radio advertising, fly posters, promotional activity and a web site, and is beginning talks with off-trade buyers to discuss regional listings.
