SERT-MST has announced plans to raise money for Help for Heroes with a new range of toiletries.

The products, which include a bath soak, body wash, hand soap and lotion, will be produced in the UK by three different suppliers, and will be launched in January.

The company also plans to develop free-standing display units that can be ordered pre-filled.

At least 10% of the wholesale price will be donated to Help for Heroes, which supports British soldiers wounded in action. The final amount donated to the charity will be marked on the pack.

“We look forward to broad retailer support on this initiative and to be able to report a major contribution to the continued growth of the charity,” said SERT-MST MD Sabir Tayub.

“We are not just commercially driven by this project, but we have been very moved by the contribution that Help For Heroes has made in a relatively short space of time.

“It is astounding how this charity has captured people’s imagination.”

Help for Heroes’ founder Bryn Parry said he had no doubt the products would be a great success.

“Help For Heroes is all about ‘doing your bit’ and SERT-MST’s pledge to support us with these wonderful products is fantastic. The money raised is greatly needed and is hugely appreciated.”

In April, Noble Foods launched Eggs for Soldiers in partnership with the charity, which receives 15p for every £1.68 pack sold.
