Middle Eastern supermarket chain Spinneys Dubai has been named Interna-tional Retailer of the Year by export agency Food from Britain.
Formed in 1924 in Alexandria, Spinneys Dubai has become the leading premium food retailer in the Middle East, with more than 34 stores in the UAE and eight stores in Oman under the Al Fair brand.
“Spinneys Dubai has won this award for its efforts and success in delivering British products to the UAE,” said John Adams, FFB chief executive. “As a result, many manufacturers have achieved great sales in this key emerging market.”
