Spontex is targeting a large part of the marketing support for its new hypoallergenic gloves at dermatologists.
Designed for consumers who are sensitive to the latex used in most other household gloves, as well as those with dermatitis and eczema, the gloves are made from a synthetic material. They are due on shelf in Tesco stores this week, retailing at £2.85 a pair. The bright packaging aims for maximum impact in minimum space.
According to marketing manager Helen Ianetta, the launch followed extensive consumer research which "identified a specific need".
