This fair will have more than 150 exhibitors, including national pavilions from Scotland and Wales and international participation from Belgium and the Calabria region of Italy. Launches include honey based spreads from Farrell Foods, exotic sweets targeted at upmarket retailers from Burnt Sugar, and a new family confectionery line from the Chocolate Society. Welsh supplier The Village Dairy is launching a range of four liqueur filled yogurt desserts. Arkansas based Global Marketing is introducing traditional American blueberry, grape and muscadine jams and jellies, plus speciality sauces. Heaven Scent Herbs is launching an organic range of handmade herb and spice mustards and the Olive Grove is showcasing its Lulu aromatic balsamic vinegars which include fig and black cherry flavours. The London show will have more than 150 exhibitors, including a large contingent of Irish speciality food producers under the auspices of Bord Bía, a group of small producers from the Welsh Development Agency and strong participation from the Cotswold Food Group. There will be a group representing speciality foods from Canada and the US. The show will host the Great Taste Awards, the fine food world's Oscars' where more than 1,100 speciality foods are blind tasted to find 60 gold medal winners, plus a supreme champion. The conference, with speakers from the US and Europe, will explore the multiples' move into speciality foods and the impact on suppliers and independent retailers. Products include new organic juices from James White, speciality teas in a foil tea finger' from Hurtwood Tea, hand cured bacon from Rudds Bacon, Tuscan delicacies from Peregrine Trading and Guidetti Fine Foods, and traditional country wines and fruit liqueurs from Lyme Bay Cider.
