Britvic Soft Drinks has promoted Adrian Troy to brand controller for Britvic carbonates and Ruth Beswick to brand controller for core brands. A wide restructure of its brand marketing department includes other, less senior appointments in the Robinsons and Tango brand marketing teams and the innovation team. The new role of brand controller for Pepsi International brands has not yet been filled.

Troy was previously carbonates controller and a driving force behind the Tango relaunch with new flavours and packaging last year. He has responsibility for Amé, Purdeys, AquaLibra and Red Devil, Tango and Freekee Soda.

Ruth Beswick was senior brand manager for Robinsons squash and focused particularly on growing the Fruit & Barley range.
