Zig-Zag recently launched Extra Slim Filter Tip Rods. These filter tips are wrapped in cellophane, six to each rod, with 20 rods packed into a Zig-Zag-branded cigarette type packet.

The packets have an rsp of 69p, which gives retailers a margin in excess of 50%.

Extra Slim Filter Tip Rods offer smokers of roll-your-owns the advantages of a handy packaging format that reduces the likelihood of spillage and loss.

Zig-Zag offers more filter tip variants than any other filter tip supplier in the UK. The company, which also supplies cigarette-rolling paper, is investing £1.75m in taxi advertising in major cities such as Birmingham, Bristol, Manchester and Glasgow, backed up with giant illuminated posters and advertising in telephone boxes within city centres.

The initiative is based on a 'sticky' theme that emphasises the superior stickiness of Zig-Zag rolling papers.

Zig-Zag is offering 10 readers £40 worth of smoking accessories, including rolling papers, standard filter tips and the new filter tips.
