Bidvest Logistics has given its delivery drivers journey management devices to boost engagement.
The foodservice wholesaler has given more than 650 of its drivers Microlise Android devices to allow access to the performance of the fleet and provide proof of delivery confirmation notifications.
The devices give drivers direct access to Microlise logistics tools on 380 vehicles in the Bidvest Logistics fleet and aims to boost driver engagement.
“The Microlise solution is central to our operation,” said Bidvest Logistics IT director Cindy Howarth.
“With this upgrade we are redoubling our efforts to provide the most engaging environment for our drivers. We expect to see many benefits for the business in our service, efficiency and reduced operational costs. By providing a more engaging workplace experience we hope to attract the best drivers to the team while helping our existing drivers to carry out their roles easily and effectively.”
