Spar Scotland wholesaler CJ Lang & Son is implementing new technology to increase efficiency in its supply chain.
The company has partnered with software company Relex Solutions to automate and optimise its business processes.
CJ Lang said Relex would help to deliver integrated store and distribution centre forecasting, as well as improve allocations and promotional forecasting for CJ Lang’s company-owned stores.
“Relex’s proven track record within convenience grocery and with other Spar entities was a key factor in our choice for this partnership,” said CJ Lang & Son IT director Graham Murdoch.
“We look forward to utilising market-leading forecast and replenishment solutions to optimise our processes, increase visibility throughout our operations, and maintain quality in our customer offer.”
Relex VP sales EMEA Jason Berry said: “Relex is very excited to announce our partnership with CJ Lang and have another Spar entity join the Relex family.
