There will be 21 monetary prizes up for grabs ranging from £800 to £2,000 from the Scottish Spar wholesaler

Scottish Spar wholesaler CJ Lang & Son is set to launch its first community cashback campaign, with more than £30,000 to give away.

Customers, store staff and CJ Lang employees will be able to nominate community groups and charities across the country to receive a cash sum.

The campaign will start on 10 August and take place in all 109 CJ Lang company-owned Spar stores, with the winning groups being announced in November.

There will be 21 monetary prizes up for grabs, ranging from £800 to £2,000.

“We are pleased to announce our first community cashback campaign where we are giving away over £30,000 to local community groups and charities around Scotland,” said CJ Lang CEO Colin McLean.

“During the pandemic, local community groups and charities have suffered as they rely so much on donations from the general public. We hope a number of organisations will benefit from a share of the community cashback campaign.”

The campaign will be supported with in-store PoS, social media, online website content and Spar Live radio.
