Wyke Farms has opened a £1.3m water recovery plant at its main production site in Bruton, Somerset. The plant will enable Wyke to recover 95% of its waste water and save it up to 850,000 litres of water per day. It is part of the processor’s £10m 100% Green strategy, which saw it open a biogas plant last year. “100% Green is an ongoing journey that we remain committed to,” said MD Richard Clothier. The plant was opened by Baroness Verma on 2 July.
